The FORD NEW HOLLAND 8360 tractor was manufactured in England between 1996 and 1999 and is larger than the FORD NEW HOLLAND 8260 model. It is produced as a 2 wheel drive model with a two post roll over protection structure but both 4 wheel drive with mechanical front wheel drive and a cab are optional upgrades. The FORD NEW HOLLAND 8360 has hydrostatic power steering and differential hydraulic wet disc brakes.

The 8360 is fitted with a 7.5 liter NEW HOLLAND Genesis 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel that is liquid cooled. The maximum capacity of its fuel tank is 85 gallons or 321.7 litres and of its hydraulic system is 23.7 gallons or 89.7 litres. It is possible to fit this tractor with three different types of transmission and the basic model has the partially synchronised Dual Command with 23 forward and 12 reverse gears. This can be upgraded to the partial power shift Range Command, one of which has 17 forward and 6 reverse gears and the other, 18 forward and 6 reverse gears.
